Since she began her stint on The Real Housewives of Atlanta back in 2007 as part of the original cast, Sheree Whitfield has been talking about her ex-husband, Bob Whitfield, and she hasn’t always had the nicest thing to say.
While Bob has seldom been featured on the show in the past, he was featured last season when Sheree demands he start paying child support for his two kids, son Kairo and daughter Kaleigh.
So, who exactly is Bob Whitfield and what’s his history with our beloved Sheree?
Sheree Fuller and Bob met in 1993, and in 1996 she gave birth to the couple’s son, Kairo. In 1999, Sheree and Bob welcomed daughter Kaleigh, and the couple finally tied the knot a year later.
Despite their long relationship, the marriage only lasted until 2003, and the couple was officially divorced in 2007 after a messy battle over money and other assets.
Turns out that 2007 was actually a bad year for Bob, seeing that it was also the year the former Stanford football player announced he was retiring from the game. From 1992-2003, Bob played for the Atlanta Falcons before being dropped, and in 2004, he played for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After a short break, Bob spent his final professional football season on the New York Giants in 2006, where his nasty temper and propensity to get violent with other players earned him the nickname “Head-butt Bob.”
Let’s hope Head-butt Bob doesn’t show off his ugly side when asked to help support his children, especially since Sheree isn't getting those RHoA checks anymore!
