We love it when our favorite Real Housewives stars pop up on our other reality shows! Feel the synergy.
Real Housewives of Vancouver star Jody Claman is the latest lucky lady to follow that trend, as she is going to be a guest judge on the upcoming season of Top Chef Canada, according to The Province.
Jody is more than qualified to appear as a judge on the cooking competition, as she runs her own catering company, Jody's Fine Foods and Catering.
Still, casting producer Aaron Long acknowledges that there may be some viewers who don't think that a Real Housewife is the best person to judge Top Chef.
“Some people wonder why some people make it on as judges," Aaron says. "Some people say 'why can’t you get this person or that person.'"
"Some people didn’t get it, but she is a successful owner of her own baked goods catering company," he continues. "She really did qualify to be judging the challenges she was judging. She’s a strong personality, and people are going to have strong reactions to her in both directions."
The season is currently looking for contestants, so we'll have to wait a bit before we get to see Jody and her discerning taste buds in action.
Jody joins a long list of Real Housewives stars who have managed to branch out onto other shows, including Lisa Vanderpump's recent stint on Dancing with the Stars or NeNe Leakes starring role on the recently canceled sitcom The New Normal.
Is anyone better suited than Jody to tell someone to pack up their knives and go? We think not.
