Tamra isn't naming any names, but she took to Twitter on June 4 to call out one of her castmates for suspiciously experiencing a sudden bump in Twitter followers this week.
So who is Tamra singling out? She remained tight-lipped when her own followers tried to get her to say who this is, and all she would say was to type her co-stars' names into Twitter Counter until you see which one had recently gone up in followers.
The only other clue Tamra would give was that, when a follower asked, "Is Jesus involved?," Tamra said no, meaning it probably isn't Alexis Bellino.
Sure enough, a little investigation shows that Lydia had 71,000 followers as of last Wednesday, May 29, but today she is up to more than 85,000. None of the other ladies have had any noticable changes in their Twitter numbers.
So is Lydia actually buying followers? We're not convinced, since it's possible that she is still gaining more followers as viewers get to see more of her on the show.
And she has had an increased presence on the show over the past two episodes, as she helps mediate a detente between Tamra and Alexis and spends more time with her kooky mom, so perhaps this is the real reason for her Twitter expansion.
This actually isn't the first time that someone in the Real Housewives family has accused someone else of buying Twitter followers. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville made a similar accusation about LeAnn Rimes earlier this year.
Frankly, we can't really believe that Lydia would buy followers, but we suppose that stranger things have happened involving the women on this show.
