Taylor Armstrong is still a Season 4 cast member of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but apparently she is upset about her limited involvement in the show's filming thus far.
Taylor is "being phased out" of the show and is apparently doing anything she can to change this, Radar Online says.
Tay "hasn’t been asked to be on camera with the rest of the ladies [this season]," a source reports. "She is extremely distressed because Taylor counts on the income from appearing on the show."
“Taylor has been calling the other cast members, hysterically crying, asking for their help," the source adds. "She wants them to call producers and demand she be included in future filming.”
So why is Taylor sitting on the sidelines while the other ladies shoot Season 4? It sounds like this has been a long time coming.
Producers "aren’t inclined to feature Taylor prominently on the show this season for several reasons," the insider says. "She is boring — it’s sad but true. They would have axed her sooner if her husband Russell hadn’t committed suicide."
And it sounds like there are logistical reasons as well for Taylor's downsizing.
"Taylor has been spending more time in Vail, Colorado, with boyfriend/attorney John Bluher," the source continues. "She isn’t spending a lot of time Southern California.”
Plus, now that the show is adding more women, like newbie Joyce Giraud, there may be less of a need for Taylor.
It's no secret that Taylor hasn't exactly been a fan favorite in recent season. This might be partly due to her not really have any big storylines revolving around her last season — meaning she didn't do anything like getting into a suitcase or threatening to "pull some Oklahoma" on anyone.
So will you miss Taylor if she isn't on the show as much? Or do you think it's a step in the right direction?
