Vicki Gunvalson landed in some hot water last week regarding her newest business venture, Vicki’s Vodka.
Court documents show the Real Housewives of Orange County star and boyfriend Brooks Ayers are at the center of a lawsuit filed by Robert Williamson III, a partner in Vicki’s Vodka. Robert alleges Vicki and Brooks committed fraud by asking him to invest in the business and setting false expectations for how Vicki’s Vodka would succeed. He’s seeking hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensation for what he believes is an act of fraud committed by the couple.
While Vicki Gunvalson has yet to comment herself on the matter, her Wines by Wives business partner is confident Vicki will survive the legal battle.
Chris Gravagna spoke exclusively to Wetpaint Entertainment about his thoughts on the lawsuit against Vicki.
“As soon as I heard, my first thought was, ‘Are you OK?’” Chris told us. “But Wines by Wives is not affected. We’re fine. It has not changed. We’re in a good place.”
Chris added he believes Vicki will be telling her side of the story soon enough.
“I’m ultra-supportive of Vicki,” he said. “She’s doing good and will have a statement out soon.”
We also hope to hear something from Vicki Gunvalson soon!
