Gretchen Rossi is thriving these days as a businesswoman, but she had to deal with a previous hiccup of her own.
In 2011, Gretchen and Slade Smiley were sued for $100,000 by their former make-up artist and business partner for breach of contract, fraud, deceit, and conspiracy, according to Radar Online. Whew.
Ronann Myers claims to have been promised half of the profits from Gretchen and Slade's Gretchen Christine beauty product line.
“From February 2009 onward, Rossi and Smiley engaged in an elaborate scheme to defraud Plaintiff out of her interest in the makeup line," the lawsuit states.
The lawsuit alleges that Gretchen and Slade "conspired to exploit" Ronann's "knowledge of and contacts within the makeup industry" to build the business and then planned to "cut her off without a dime."
So what happened to the case? Well, there's actually been no official word on whether the two parties have settled, so we're not really sure.
However, Gretchen continues looking onwards and upwards, as her Gretchen Christine For Luxe by Lisa Vogel swimwear line hit stores last week, just in time for bikini season!
As for Vicki's situation, a former partner in her Vicki's Vodka business is suing Brooks Ayers and her for fraud, alleging that they misled him about how successful the company would be.
So Vicki and Gretchen may not exactly be getting along these days, but at least they have one thing in common.
