Tamra Barney married Eddie Judge in a fairytale wedding on June 15, but a black cloud of sorts has formed over the Real Housewives of Orange County star’s nuptials.
In Touch reports Tamra’s jewelry designer, Brian Hassine of Nuggets & Carats, was held up at gunpoint and robbed in his Mission Viejo store. Brian custom designed Tamra Barney’s pave eternity wedding bands to match her enormous engagement ring, as well as Eddie’s wedding band. His store is also set to be featured in Tamra’s three-episode wedding special, Tamra’s OC Wedding, which will air starting September 2.
A source close to Tamra said the bride also borrowed about $250,000 in additional jewelry from Brian to wear at her wedding. It’s not clear though whether the borrowed baubles made their way back to the store before the robbery took place.
Taking to Facebook and Twitter, Tamra put the word out about the crime.
“My friend Brian owner of Nuggets & Carats jewelry store ( designer of our wedding rings) was just robbed at gun point by three african-American men,” Tamra shared on Facebook. “They took everything in his store. Thank GOD he was not hurt. I hope they catch these guys and lock them up!!!! I'm SO sorry Brian and I hope mentally you are okay, I couldn't imagine what went through your head.”
We also hope the perpetrators of the robbery get caught!
