Taylor has been on the show since Day One, but she is "being phased out" for Season 4, according to Radar Online.
Starcasm reports that she'll still be seen on the show, but that she will be downgraded to a "friend of the Housewives." Apparently, she'll be seen even less in Season 4 than Camille Grammer was seen last season when she was a "friend of the Housewives."
Taylor "hasn’t been asked to be on camera with the rest of the ladies [this season]," a source reported in early June 2013. "She is extremely distressed because Taylor counts on the income from appearing on the show."
"Taylor has been calling the other cast members, hysterically crying, asking for their help," the source adds. "She wants them to call producers and demand she be included in future filming."
So why exactly is Ms. Pull Some Oklahoma sitting on the sidelines?
"She is boring — it’s sad but true," reports an insider. "They would have axed her sooner if her husband Russell hadn’t committed suicide."
"The viewers just don’t like her," says another source. "But it has been so hard to find replacements for Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammer, that producers had no choice but to bring her back.”
Plus, there are geographic reasons why Taylor has been absent from the show. "Taylor has been spending more time in Vail, Colorado, with boyfriend/attorney John Bluher," a source continues. "She isn’t spending a lot of time Southern California.”
So what do you think about Taylor's limited screentime? Will you miss her, or do you hope the door doesn't hit her on the way out?
