If you thought watching Vicki Gunvalson tear into Lauri Peterson on the slopes of Whistler was awkward, next week’s episode of Real Housewives of Orange County is about to take things to an uncomfortable new level.

In this sneak peek of Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8, Episode 15, the ladies sit down for a nice meal together, but Vicki can’t seem to resist dredging up ancient history with Gretchen Rossi.

Conversation turns to how Vicki accused Gretchen of cheating on her now-deceased fiance, Jeff Beitzel.

“You and I have never been the same since certain accusations were made,” Gretchen says coldly. Vicki denied making any comments about Gretchen’s engagement until much later, but Gretchen (and the Bravo cameras) remember things differently.

“You started calling me a gold digger and then you said I was cheating on him,” said Gretchen Rossi.

Flashback to 5 years ago, when Gretchen was first introduced to the other Housewives. As Gretchen walks down the front steps of her home, Tamra Barney sits in a limo next to Vicki and declares, “Hold on to your daddy’s girls, here comes Gretchen!” Tamra and Vicki begin cackling at their witty little comment.

A bit flustered now, Vicki Gunvalson says she doesn’t remember exactly what happened and insists no one wants to “regurgitate” the past. She comments Gretchen’s actions don’t affect her life, but Gretchen points out Vicki still seems to have a lot to say about things.

“Absolutely I do,” Vicki says. “Just like the way Tamra did.”

“Tamra and I have worked out our differences,” Gretchen insists.

Looking skeptical, Vicki says, “Have you? I don't’ think so.”

Do you think Vicki knows something Gretchen doesn’t, or is she just trying to stir the pot?
