Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson is one the most outspoken, outrageous and undeniably enjoyable to watch housewives on the air. And the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. In the past few seasons, daughter Brianna Wolfson-Culberson — who’s been featured on the show since its inception — is proving an equally engaging character.
For the past eight seasons, viewers have watched Brianna transform from a precocious Southern California teen to the wife of a Marine and, more recently, a mother to son Troy, 10 months. And whether she’s going off Vicki’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Brooks Ayers or hotly defending her, Ryan, Brianna doesn’t sugar coat anything for anyone.
Given her married status, her no-holds-barred attitude and her built-in fan base, it seems like a no-brainer that she’d be upped to full-time housewife status. Sadly for us, however, a RHOC insider says it’s probably not in the cards.
“I don’t think it’s something the producers are even considering,” the insider tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “It’s just not on their radar.”
But don’t cry for Brianna. We’re told that, should RHOC get renewed for a ninth season, she’ll most likely return in a recurring role.
“She’s a very polarizing figure,” the insider adds. “Some love her, some don’t. But she’s very opinionated and that always makes for good drama. If she the show comes back, I’m sure she’ll be coming back, too.”
