Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Echevarria says that she wants to stay friends with both Adriana De Moura and Lea Black, but it isn't particularly easy to do so.
Alexia writes in her Bravo blog that she and Lea hadn't spoken since the reunion prior to their lunch. "I called and texted Lea after the reunion, but she never responded," Alexia writes. "She felt since I was friends with Ana, I had something to do with it."
"At this point when we met, I was upset because she hadn't wanted to speak to me, and on top of that Adriana told me that Lea doesn't want to have anything to do with any of us," she says. "Adriana told me not to be naïve, and that Lea is not the nice person I think she is, because when Peter got in trouble with the homeless, she immediately called her to say nasty things about my son and me as a mother. Why shouldn't I believe Adriana now, right?"
Alexia says she didn't understand the rumors she was hearing about what Lea supposedly said. "I told Lea when I saw her I'm upset with her because of what I'm hearing from Adriana," Alexia explains. "If Lea is a person who believes in giving second chances and rehabilitating adolescents, why would she say something so mean and hurtful about Peter?"
"I really don't want to believe Lea is trying to punish me because I didn't stick up for her in the reunion," she adds. "I wasn't even there when this all went down, remember?"
Alexia says she's glad she and Lea have patched things up for the time being. "I felt after our talk we were in a better place," Alexia writes. "Lea and I have always been good to each other and liked each other. I hope that doesn't change just because I'm friends with Marysol, Adriana, and Ana. That's not a good enough reason. I don't feel I have to pick sides." Let's see if that turns out to be the case.
