After this week's episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, you might think that Carlton Gebbia has negative things to say about Kyle Richards. You'd be right.
Carlton explains in her Bravo blog why she was more bothered by Kyle's questions this week — including asking about experimenting with witchcraft and asking about having a cross above her bed — than she was by Brand Glanville calling her the c-word.
"It's quite simple — I like Brandi," Carlton writes. "Kyle, on the other hand, feels the need to consistently and blatantly throw insults, combined with her show of utter-disrespect and obvious prejudice for my faith. It's just a constant indicator of what an ignoramus she is, so it is rather simple."
"Seriously, what's disheartening is — considering how far we have evolved as a society with respect to religion, sexual preference, and ethnicity — with all this progress made, when did it suddenly become OK to have such an overt prejudice against someone's non-traditional religion?" she adds. "If she made those type of offensive remarks about any other traditional religion, she would be in hot bloody water!"
Carlton also addresses Brandi asking Kyle about the rumors of Mauricio cheating. "Kyle isn't comfortable being put on the spot in front of everyone regarding such a personal subject," Carlton writes. "Interesting, I muse; double standard, methinks."
So the next time Kyle is over at Carlton's house, she should probably keep her questions to herself. Then again, maybe there won't be a next time.
