Lisa Vanderpump mostly stayed on the sidelines during the drama of this week's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, she says now that she wishes she had made it clear that she didn't agree with Brandi Glanville's comments about Joyce Giraud.
"At the dinner, we see a great example of the indomitable force of Yolanda and Brandi," Lisa writes in her Bravo blog. "Brandi incessantly calling Joyce 'Jacqueline.' It was fine as a joke once, but over and over again was taunting her."
"I believe I was wrong in not standing up to Brandi and her drunken rants against Joyce," Lisa adds. "Most of Brandi's barbs were, quite frankly, ridiculous."
Lisa says that this week's episode marks the point where she starts to no longer feel close to Brandi and Yolanda. "This is where the tide turns," she says. "The slow realization that started to dawn on me, as I witnessed the nastiness that was transpiring in this group."
Lisa also regrets not listening to Joyce about Brandi supposedly having thrown Lisa under the bus after the hair-fixing incident. "I chose to ignore [Joyce], which was ultimately my downfall," Lisa says. "Had I listened, I would've been more prepared for what was about to ensue in the upcoming weeks. I have since apologized to [Joyce] for sitting there and not coming to her defense."
And regarding Brandi's comment about Joyce not going in the pool because she's black, Lisa says Brandi "is not a racist" but that the comment was "irresponsible" and an "idiotic remark."
Do you agree with Lisa that she should have spoken up about Brandi? And do you think she's right to stop trusting Yolanda and Brandi?
