It has taken us a while to get into the heat of things on Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. For the first few episodes, drama was just boiling under the surface, but come Episode 6, viewers got more than they could have ever asked for. Not only did Brandi Glanville shock the world with her racist poolside joking, but she totally offended Joyce Giraud, one of the new gals on the block.

It’s no real secret that these two ladies aren’t besties — even to this day — and are frequently airing their grievances on Twitter for all the world to see, but Joyce recently appeared on The Couch to talk about her time on the show, what viewers can expect, and, of course, her epic feud with Brandi.

“Expect [this season] to get really heated,” Joyce teased. “Regarding me, they can expect me to stay true to myself. I think, at the end of the day, even if you’re going through a dramatic moment, if you stay true to yourself you can go to bed happy — regardless of the outcome.”

But let’s get real, we really want to know what this two-time Miss Puerto Rico has to say about the feud of the century.

“It’s very bad, I really don’t like her,” Joyce said about Brandi, looking straight into the camera and giving us no-nonsense tude. “The reality is I feel bad for her. I think that, deep down, there must be a good person there. I feel bad that she is just so miserable within her own life that she needs to bring everyone around her down. And, unfortunately, I’m not going to let her do that.”

Oh, and Joyce finally addressed our burning question about the Palm Springs retreat: Why didn’t Joyce just get in the pool when Yolanda was teasing her?

“Because I don’t like being told what to do,” Joyce said, plainly. Word, girl.
