Joyce Giraud did not know what she was getting herself into when she signed on for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. So what did she think the ladies would be like — and how does she really feel about them now?
"I had preconceived ideas of what I thought the ladies would be," Joyce tells People. "For example, I thought Kyle was gonna be a terrible person. And I really like Kyle — she's one of my dear friends today."
Clearly, Joyce can't say the same for Brandi Glanville. "I thought Brandi and I would get along great 'cause I thought, 'Wow, this girl is honest. I love honest people,'" Joyce says. "I thought we would get along great, and honestly, I couldn't dislike her more."
"Y'know what, I don't know what Brandi's problem is because she was not drunk in the pool," Joyce says, referring to Brandi's controversial comments while in the Palm Springs pool.
"I just think that Brandi is a conniving person that manipulates and thinks of something that she can do for shock value and to keep herself relevant," she continues. "I get it — this is her life, this is all she does. But you don't need to be mean."
Do you think it's harsh for Joyce to say that the show is all Brandi has?
