Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has changed quite a bit in Season 4, with the additions of Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, along with the absence of Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof, and Taylor Armstrong. But is the show about to experience another dramatic casting switcheroo?
A rumor is going around that Kim Richards might not return for Season 5, according to Radar Online. Reportedly, the show's producers feel that Kim isn't adding enough to the show. And there has long been speculation that, if Kim were to leave the show, Kyle Richards would leave, too. However, none of these rumors have been confirmed, and similar rumors seem to pop up every year.
So who would replace Kim if she really were to depart? Well, Faye Resnick's name has been mentioned in the rumor mill as a possible replacement, given her previous friction with the ladies, particularly Brandi Glanville.
But is Faye really ready to join the show full-time? "It’s flattering [that] my name has come up in discussion with being on the show," Faye tells Hollywood Life. "I’ve been on it a few times and enjoyed it, but in all reality, I’m happy with my career as a designer. I have no interest in doing anything full-time other than that."
"I think Kim is doing an amazing job, and I want to see her continue on the show," Faye adds.
So it sounds like Faye won't be joining the show, although you never know if she might change her mind if provided with a formal offer from Bravo. There's no question that a show with Faye as a regular player would be quite different!
Do you want Faye to join the cast? Or would you prefer Kim to stay put?
