Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump seems to have gone from having all the friends in the world to none, at least not in the 90210. Though the British restaurateur is pretty good about letting criticism roll off her back, she’d be lying if all the backbiting didn’t get to her. In fact, she tells Star that she’s survived “the toughest year” of her life.

It doesn’t help that some of the catty remarks are happening in the very public setting that is Twitter. “I believe that tweeting is a great way to communicate with fans — not a good way to put down your castmates,” she says.

Though we’re sure the temptation is there, don’t look for the SUR owner stooping to that level. “It would be easy for me to say something bad back to these people, but if it comes to that for me, there is no point anymore in continuing on the show.”

Well, we can’t have that. Thankfully, it seems Lisa will overcome. Though her co-stars “definitely succeeded in making things difficult for her” over the course of the last season, she’s determined to rise above. “I won’t be affected by their petty, bitchy remarks,” she says.

Well, her castmates may have turned their backs on her, but Lisa can still take comfort in her loyal fans. “The viewers have been so supportive,” she says. “They’re getting me through all this.”
