Joyce Giraud wasn't able to attend Yolanda Foster's party for daughter Gigi on this week's episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and we later learn that it's because Joyce's dad has sadly passed away. Now, Joyce says she isn't pleased that Kyle Richards told the ladies about Joyce's dad.
"[A]s you all now know, the reason I have been so MIA in the past few episodes is because I was going through a very difficult family moment," Joyce writes in her Bravo blog. "I was flying back and forth from Puerto Rico to be with my father in his final days, to be able to say goodbye and to grieve with my family."
"The only person in our group that knew what was going on was Kyle, as she was the one I was closest to," Joyce continues. "I must say I was very upset and disappointed when she decided to tell the other girls, as I had asked her to not say anything to any of them."
Joyce says she didn't want the ladies to pity her. "I DID NOT want my father's death and my grieving to be a topic, and I for sure didn't want a pity party from the other girls," Joyce writes.
It's sad that Joyce feels that Kyle betrayed her trust. Now, we're curious to see if Joyce and Kyle remain close friends throughout the rest of the season. Given that Joyce says that Kyle "was" the person she was closest to, we're wondering if they're no longer tight.
Do you think Kyle crossed a line by telling the ladies about Joyce's dad?
