With Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills winding down, it’s time for all of the casting rumors to start swirling. Normally the producers for the show look for fresh meat, but this time it looks like they might be turning to former stars to fill potential voids in the cast.

Newbies Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud have been singled out as potentially expendable — which makes sense considering they are the newest and didn’t bring too much to the season. Who are producers supposedly reaching out to in order to fill their spots? RadarOnline.com reports that Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof are big contenders.

“Camille has always stayed friends with the ladies, and she was always popular on the show, she just didn’t want to do it anymore,” a show insider tells the site. “Adrienne is a completely different story. She had a really bad ending, especially with Andy, but people have been reaching out to her to tell her that it would be great to have her back, especially after all of the drama with Lisa and Brandi.”

Are these ladies ever willing to come back? Adrienne recently said that she’d have to be paid “a lot of money to go back,” while, not too long ago, Camille revealed on Watch What Happens Live that all of the ladies reached out after her cancer diagnosis and they’re all friendly. (Camille has since completed chemotherapy and explained that her kids helped her get through it.)

“They do want friends, but the Camille and Adrienne have huge fan bases and bringing them back would be shocking and would definitely cause a lot of drama,” the source continued.

“Having old faces, and then maybe some new ones, would be something producers are hearing that fans would like and are trying to see if this is something they should do. They want the show to stay popular and high in ratings and it would be shocking if the women came back and surprised the cast.”

We’ll have to wait and see, though, since there’s been no official word from Bravo yet.
