Looks like Casey Kasem’s ex-actress wife is trying to claw her way back into the spotlight, and she’s got her eyes on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Though the former actress had a small part as a ditzy blonde in the 1984 movie Ghostbusters and played Nick Tortelli’s ditzy blonde wife on Cheers, she hasn’t been on screen much lately, instead spending time caring for her sick husband, who is 23 years her senior.

Last year, Jean stated her interest in taking part in the show, and she was already in talks with producers to replace former RHoBH star Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammar, but nothing ever came of the news. Jean, of course, is still interested — and she doesn’t even have to change addresses! She currently lives in a $10 million mansion on the edge of Beverly Hills with her 23-year-old daughter Liberty, an aspiring singer.

There’s no question that the Kasem crew would bring their share of drama to RHoBH. Jean is currently in the middle of a huge fight over her husband’s healthcare, which last week resulted in an international man-hunt after Casey was reported missing. (It turned out that Casey and Jean were on “vacation” in Port Orchard, Washington.) This infuriated Casey’s older children, who wanted their father to stay in his Santa Monica hospital where he could be properly cared for. Additionally, Jean and Casey’s children have been in a seven-year war over Casey’s ailing health, and the kids have accused Jean of being a “wicked stepmother.” Well, if she manages to get onto RHoBH, she’s definitely going to bring a lot of drama with her!

Should Jean be cast on RHOBH? Or is she too much drama? Let us know in the comments!
