When we last spoke to Adrienne Maloof a few weeks back, she told us she’s so busy lately that she multi-tasks by taking phone calls on the treadmill. She wasn’t kidding. The mogul and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star just added yet another luxury offering to her brand. Last night at NYC hotspot Bishops and Barons, she and her plastic surgeon hubby, Dr. Paul Nassif, unveiled their new anti-aging skin care line!
Adrienne and Paul partnered with renowned cosmetic surgeon Dr. Ron Moy on the line, which will soon be available nationwide. At the launch party, they spoke with Wetpaint Entertainment about the results they’ve both seen by using it. Adrienne also chatted with us about another new baby of hers, the OMG iPhone cases, and why all the drama on RHoBH is worth it!
Wetpaint Entertainment: You two have so much going on, why a skin care line and why now?
Adrienne Maloof: You know, over the years so many companies approached my husband to do a skin care line. And I’ve tried nearly everything out there. But this is one I really respect. It’s cutting edge. I’ve been using it for a year now and I’ve noticed a huge difference. Our partner, Dr. Moy, is the past president of the American Academy of Dermatology. And the line speaks to that. It’s DNA repair. It actually helps build up the dermis layer of your skin so that it’s smoother and tighter.
Dr. Paul Nassif: After reviewing everything with Dr. Moy, we decided that we really wanted to do a line that repairs DNA enzymes. It reduces sun damage. There’s nothing else that does that.
When I’m doing surgery like a facelift, I’m lifting up the skin. I’m working on it from the inside to tighten everything up. But this works on the skin itself from the outside. It strengthens the dermis. I’ve been using this stuff for eight months and there’s a significant reduction of my brown spots from the sun and the wrinkles around my eyes. This stuff rocks, it really does.
Dr. Nassif, you just started practicing part time here in NYC. How’s it going?
Paul: It just started, but it’s going great. I love the people and my new office on Park Ave. is fantastic. Even before we were on the show, I had my East Coast patients and their friends — and there are a lot of them — asking me to open a New York office. I’m glad to be able to do it for them.

Adrienne, you’re also coming out with an iPhone case line. Can you tell us about it?
Adrienne: Yes, they’re called my OMG cases and what’s special about them is they have an LED light. The bottles of the new vodka line I’m working on have the same technology. You press a button and the whole thing lights up. I was talking about it with a friend of mine one day not too long ago and I looked down at my phone and it just came to me: We should be doing this with iPhone cases!

So is all the drama that comes from doing RHOBH worth it because you get a platform to launch all these great, new products?
Adrienne: The drama will always be there with the show. It is what it is. But I do thank Bravo for giving me this platform, absolutely. My family has been in business for 150 years and I’ve always been creative. So I love having my own brand now — starting with my shoe line, and now a handbag line, the iPhone cases, and the skin care line with my husband — that that lets me explore all these great ideas!
