The rumors have finally been confirmed: Adrienne Maloof is officially leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The reality star shared the sad but anticipated news on her personal website, titling the post “To my loyal fans...It was time to exit RHOBH.”

“The show served as a wonderful platform for all the amazing projects that I have in the works,” Adrienne wrote. “I am forever grateful to my fans, thank you for your support, and stay tuned! xoxoA.”

After her no-show at the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 3 reunion taping on March 1, speculation rose sharply that the recently divorced housewife would not be returning for Season 4. Reports today even speculated that she was “let go” from the show in a less than amicable manner.

“She was let go. Producers were sick of her constant tardiness and her issues,” a source allegedly tells People magazine.

Another source close to Adrienne Maloof maintains that the producers were eager for her to stay for one more season. "The producers were begging Adrienne to come back to the show and the reunion right up until the last minute," the source says, according to People.

"Housewives was part of her past," the Adrienne source continues. "She's looking to the future."

Also reportedly joining Adrienne on the chopping block is Camille Grammer, who is apparently quitting Season 4 to pursue her own personal projects.

While other famous ladies like Jennifer Flavin (wife of actor Sylvester Stallone) and Rod Stewart’s wife, Penny Lancaster, have been thrown out as potential new housewives, the producers of RHoBH might be facing a casting boycott from a group of Hollywood lawyers and managers urging their clients not to join the reality franchise.

Are you sad to see Adrienne go?
