Alexis Bellino Elaborates on Her Awkward Princess Party Toast

Whether or not you believe a 4th birthday party toast was the appropriate moment for Alexis Bellino to discuss nearly losing her own life and the lives of her twin girls Melania and Mackenna during her pregnancy, Alexis has even more to say about the harrowing ordeal in her Bravo blog.

“Like I said in my toast,” she wrote, “all three of us are blessed to be here today… It was the most difficult time in my life, being hospitalized for five days, not knowing whether my unborn daughters would be able to survive all that was going on with their mom’s body.”

She added that her full toast, which wasn’t aired (fist shake at Bravo for editing), contained even more info about how it’s not uncommon to have a pulmonary embolism during pregnancy but that it wasn’t any less scary for her. The thought of succumbing to the disorder still “puts a lump in [her] throat.”
