Since the Season 3 blowout between Brandi Glanville and Adrienne Maloof, it seems as if the drama’s only causing rifts between the other ladies of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Once very close friends, Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump seemed to take opposite sides in the debate, with Kyle asserting that Brandi’s actions were extremely unfair. “It was something that was sort of a sad situation and a sore subject,” Kyle says of the accusations. “I think it was intended to hurt [Adrienne]. There’s a lot of things that we all hear and know about each other, and when you say it to hurt someone, that bothers me.”
When Lisa took Brandi’s side, it only seemed to cause tension between her and Kyle. In a preview video for Season 3, Episode 13, the ladies sit down to talk about their problems.
“I don’t want Brandi to come between you and me,” Kyle says. “She’s saying things on purpose that are embarrassing to Adrienne.”
Lisa snaps back that, in the past, Adrienne’s said some not-so-nice things about her, and that Kyle never came to her defense. “You don’t think it was embarrassing for me being accused of [selling stories]. It would be nice if you’d turned around and said, ‘Oh, what are you talking about?’ [...] You keep saying, ‘I want to go forward,’ and I have to explain to you why the relationship isn’t the same. [...] I know you’ll never defend me.”
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Kyle opens up about the status of their friendship. “We’re ok,” Kyle says with a smile. “She gets very sensitive. She thought I should have defended her that night. I thought she was defending herself just fine. But you know, we’re good.”
Though Kyle adds that they’re not completely where they used to be, we’re happy to know they’ve worked out their issues and can finally move on!
