Brandi Glanville may have promised to stop stoking the flames of her feud with LeAnn Rimes, but that doesn’t mean she can’t bask in the glow of her recent accomplishments.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star opened up about her relationship with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian (who is now married to LeAnn) during an appearance on Loveline — and her pledge to stay away from anymore post-divorce drama.
“I think that I definitely have a temper and I fight back,” Brandi told hosts Dr. Drew Pinsky and Mike Catherwood. “But I don't think I’m at this point engaging any further. I’m trying really hard not to. There are a few holes in the wall, and I punch pillows. I want to go on to the next conversation. I want it to be about the show or the next book deal, and not engaging with stupid people.”
Since her divorce, Brandi had become a breakout star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a New York Times bestselling author, and even started her own clothing line.
When asked whether she thinks Eddie and LeAnn are jealous of her successes, Brandi said, “I think so at this point, because of the conversations I’ve had in the past with them. I think the fact that I have come as far that I have makes them spitting mad. I feel like they wanted me to be working at McDonalds, and that's not what i’m doing.”
Brandi recounted a recent interaction she felt summed up the situation. During one of her son’s baseball games, a woman came up to Brandi with a copy of Drinking & Tweeting and Other Brandi Blunders and to ask for an autograph — all while Eddie and LeAnn were walking right behind her.
“I’m kind of the face of scorned women who made it,” Brandi declared. “What was I going to do at 36 years old with no education and two kids?”
From where we’re sitting, it looks like Brandi’s done pretty well for herself!
