Can Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes bury the hatchet? For her part, Brandi is game.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star doesn't think she can ever be friends with LeAnn after her involvement in Brandi and Eddie’s breakup — but she is hopeful they can establish an amicable relationship for the sake of her children with Eddie, 9-year-old Mason and 5-year-old Jake.
Speaking to Access Hollywood about her new tell-all book, Drinking and Tweeting and Other Brandi Blunders, the 40-year-old elaborates. “I'm ready to put it behind me ... This [book] is my final chapter — this is me closing the door on our public fight. I want it out of the media. I'll just deal with it as best I can with them.
"We don't have the best communication or relationship right now, but I'm hoping we can change that. I don't think we'll be friends, but I hope we can coexist peacefully.
"I think once she has a child of her own, I think she will understand boundaries and what's respectful to do and how to handle things a little better."
Although Brandi has lashed out at LeAnn and Eddie in the past, she hopes the couple will remain together for the sake of the children.
"They're my children. I know what's going on only 50 percent of the time that they're with them ... My children are my life, they come first.
"I don't want anything bad to happen to [Eddie] because he's the father of my children. I want him to work and flourish, and I want him to stay with LeAnn forever.
"I don't want my kids to go through another divorce or breakup, and I want to make sure she's stable and happy."
Okay, LeAnn, the ball is in your court!
