Ever since Russell Armstrong’s suicide two weeks ago, Bravo has been going back and forth on how to deal with his death, both on and off-camera. After quickly re-editing footage of Russell for the September 5 Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere, and facing allegations that the network is somehow at fault for his death, Bravo has decided to face the controversy straight on. According to E!, Bravo will air a special about Russell’s suicide featuring reactions from RHoBH cast mates.

There is no word yet on when the special will air, but Taylor Armstrong — who has steered clear of the public since the tragedy — will not be apart of it. The other RHoBH ladies gathered on Monday at Bravo’s studios to begin production.

The Russell Armstrong special might not sit well with everyone, but it’s one way to bring attention to a very serious issue. What do you think? Will you be tuning in for the housewives take on Russell’s suicide?
