The status of Kim Richards’ sobriety is a continual topic on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Last season, Kim and her sister Kyle had an epic blowout during the finale, where Kyle called her intoxicated sister out as an alcoholic. The family feud kept the sisters from speaking for two months. According to Bravo, Kim’s family to checked her into rehab after filming... and she checked herself out a week later.

In Season 2, Episode 7, newcomer Brandi Glanville makes some pretty shocking accusations about the former child actress that go beyond alcohol use. Tension is high during what is supposed to be a friendly game night at Dana Wilkey’s. When Kim keeps mysteriously disappearing to the bathroom throughout the evening, Brandi attacks her, calling her out for “doing crystal meth all night.”

When Kim spoke with Dr. Paul Nassif before have some minor procedures, he asked what medication she was taking. Kim listed off Lexapro (anti-anxiety), Trazadone (antidepressant), and Topamax (an anti-seizure medication sometimes used to treat alcoholism). The combination could cause bizarre behavior, said Paul. "It's going to make you slur your words a little bit. It's going to make you out of it. I've had patients who come in on two or three of these combined, and I thought they were drunk," Paul told Kim.

On December 5, 2011, Kim checked into rehab for a second time, and has since undergone treatment for alcohol abuse and other serious issues. The RHoBH star has since checked out of rehab and is said to be "doing well." On February 13 during Part 3 of the Season 2 reunion, Kim admits in her first interview since her rehab stint that she did have problems with alcohol but not with drugs.
