Since the second season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills started airing in early September, Russell Armstrong, the now-deceased husband of Taylor Armstrong, has been an off-screen presence, but on next week’s episode, he will make the first appearance on-screen.

Wetpaint Entertainment met up with Kyle Richards, Adrienne Maloof, and her husband Dr. Paul Nassif at the Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times 19th Annual Halloween Carnival to get their feelings on the upcoming episode.

“I think it will be uncomfortable, a little bit,” says Kyle. “But it was part of the story that was going on. This was shot six months before any of that happened. But it will probably be difficult [to watch].”

Her co-star agrees, telling Wetpaint Entertainment it will likely reopen wounds that they have been trying hard to mend.

“I think to see Russell in upcoming episodes will be a little tough. Overall, the suicide has been so horrific on all of us,” says Adrienne. “But I think it puts a face behind what has happened.”
Adrienne’s husband, Paul Nassif, agrees that it was the right decision to add Russell to some of the episodes, showing the viewers happier times.

“He wasn’t around for a lot of the show,” says Paul. “And every time you’ll be with the man, he’s always in a good mood and everything is great. So I think it’s good to have him on.”
