Could the Real Housewives of Orange County be on its way to adding a new cast member? We don’t know for sure just yet, but there’s some major speculation that Shayne Lamas Richie might be on tap to join the ladies of the OC.

Radar Online reports that Shayne, the daughter of TV star Lorenzo Lamas (you might know him from Falcon Crest, Renegade and The Bold and the Beautiful) and wife of web guru Nik Richie, is being considered as a possible next addition to Housewives. Currently, the cast has five wives, while other franchises such as New York and Miami have six.

According to a Bravo source, Shayne and Nik’s “fun” and “glamorous” lifestyle has the show makers’ interest piqued, and Shayne’s already been seen cozying up to current Housewives star Tamra Barney at her recent Wines by Wives event.

Shayne, 26, and her hubby have been married since just 2010 (the wedding was reportedly a rush job), and he makes his dough from a rather provocative website, which has not been without its fair share of controversy…

We’ll reserve our judgment on this one ‘til a more formal announcement drops.
