Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow seemed to fit into the circle of five like one of her “fancy pants” gloves when she joined the cast in Season 7, and according to her, what we saw of her on the show was the real deal.
In an interview with the OC Register, Heather Dubrow talked a bit about the editing process and said she was warned by producers that she’d only be pleased with 80 percent of the edits made for the show.
"If you film someone for a year, you could paint two completely different pictures ... The 20 percent is the stuff that I did,” she explained.
"It's not set up. ... Truth is stranger than fiction, which is why reality TV is so popular. Because if you wrote it ... people would say: 'That doesn't happen.' But you know what? It does. … They catch those moments,” Heather continued. "In general, I was portrayed as myself. If you don't say it, they don't show it."
Heather has regrets, of course, especially with regards to her words about the season’s odd-woman-out, Alexis Bellino. Here’s hoping that, despite her differences with Alexis, Heather liked her time on the show enough to return for Season 8!
