Reality stars Jennifer Gimenez (Celebrity Rehab, Sober House, Model Latina) and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville met in their late teens while modeling in Europe. In their first pro shoot together since their old modeling days, the two friends recently teamed up for NoH8 — the photo campaign to repeal California’s Proposition 8, which bans same sex marriage.
Jennifer opened up to Wetpaint Entertainment about why this cause is so close to both their hearts.
“The NoH8 campaign represents a lot to me,” Jennifer explains. “We shouldn’t discriminate against people in general — and definitely NOT because they’re homosexual. Everyone deserves equality. I feel very strongly about this. I was actually one of the first public figures to draw attention to NoH8 by first posing for the campaign three years ago.”
She adds, “Brandi feels the same way I do, which is why we decided to do a shoot together in support of the campaign. We wanted to show how much we both oppose discrimination.”
Not only did they send the message, they ended up having a blast. “It was a great bonding experience,” Jennifer adds. “After all these years, it was awesome to model together again and to do it for such a great cause.”
