Could this mark the end of the drama between ex-Real Housewives of DC stars Michaele and Tareq Salahi?
On February 14, White House party crasher Tareq Salahi filed a lawsuit against his estranged wife and her lover, Journey frontman Neil Schon. After months of public battle, a Virginia judge has finally sided with Michaele! According to Circuit Court Judge Dennis Hupop, Tareq’s outlandish lawsuit is "not legally sufficient,” E! reports.
Michaele split from Tareq back in September to pursue romance with longtime flame, Schon. Since then, the blonde bombshell and her musical man have flaunted their affair, including engaging in lots of PDA (hello, Journey’s “Resonate” video!) and flashing the expensive gifts they’ve given each other. All the attention drove Tareq — who is still technically married to the former reality star — wild, and in response, he filed a $50 million lawsuit against the couple. Tareq crafted a laundry list of offenses against them, among them accusations that Schon sent Tareq lewd photos of his private parts and called him to say "I'm f--king your wife!"
But Tareq’s biggest gripe was that filing for divorce from Michaele ruined the Salahi brand. According to the infamous ex-vintner, he lost out on several TV show offers after his wife ran off with Schon and suffered serious emotional pain. Clearly, the judge wasn’t buying it.
Guess all’s fair in love and reality shows. Now, if only we could ever un-see that “Resonate” video. Eesh.
