Yesterday we reported that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer asked for — and was denied — an emergency order to keep her ex-husband Kelsey and his family from moving back into the Beverly Hills mansion he once shared with Camille. A hearing date regarding the order is set for December.
Now, TMZ, who broke the original report, is revealing the reason why Kelsey is in a rush to move: He’s worried about his cash flow due to the recent cancellation of his Starz show, Boss.
In court records snagged by TMZ, Kelsey says he plans to rent out the house he’s currently living in (for $30K a month, no less!) and live in the estate he shared with Camille, so as to avoid the money suck of multiple mortgages.
The problem? The 10-square-foot mansion is currently on the market, although they haven’t had much luck in the selling department. They recently reduced the asking price from $17 million to $16 million. TMZ says Camille thinks the house will be less desirable to buyers with Kelsey’s family living there. And she definitely has a vested interest in selling quickly: She's currently shelling out for 50 percent of the mortgage as well as other costs.
Meanwhile, in the court documents, Kelsey argues that he should be able to reside in the home because he also pays 50 percent of the costs for their home in Malibu, where Camille currently lives.
So many houses, so much bickering!
