Taylor Armstrong raised a whole lot of eyebrows on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 3, Episode 14. She appeared to have forgotten the whereabout of her daughter, Kennedy, during a not-so-lucid phone call with Kyle Richards.

Concerned that her drinking has reached a dangerous level, Kyle and Kim Richards decide to stage a mini-intervention with their fellow housewife. In this sneak peek video, the Richards sisters sit down with Taylor to discuss her alcohol consumption habits.

“I’m not gonna sugar coat it or be afraid to tell you,” Kim says to her. “This isn’t just about the other night. I do recognize when I see somebody that I feel has a drinking problem.”

The scene then cuts to a montage of all of Taylor’s “tipsy moments” from Season 3 of the show so far. Cutting back to the situation at hand, Taylor sits quietly as Kim and Kyle stare at her.

“I don’t drink very often, but when I drink, I find that I can forget a little bit about all the stress I’m under and all the pain I’m feeling,” says Taylor to the cameras in her confessional. “I’m a little taken aback. Not knowing where Kennedy was was miscommunication between my nanny, my mom, and me.”

Kim continues her lecture, saying that the situation with Kennedy was just the tip of the iceberg.

“These things need to be wakeup calls for for you, and I’m sure that was a big one,” she says to Taylor.

Do you think this intervention is necessary, or are Kyle and Kim overreacting?
