Call her what you will, but Faye Resnick can definitely keep things interesting on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As the Season 3 villain, she’s been called everything from “Faye Rancid” to Kyle Richards’ mouthpiece.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, however, Kim Richards told host Andy Cohen fans have it all wrong when it comes to Faye. A viewer called into the show to ask Kim a question about Faye, calling her a “mean girl” and asking why some of the RHoBH stars remain friends with her.
“Faye’s really not mean,” Kim said. “Actually she’s a girl’s girl, believe it or not. I know how she comes off on the show, but she’s actually a really good person. She comes to other women’s defense.”
When Andy mentioned that viewers at home were not responding well to Faye’s interruption of Yolanda Foster and Brandi Glanville’s discussion with Marisa Zanuck, Kim continued to defend her longtime friend.
“She comes off very strong on the show, I see that,” she admitted. “She’s opinionated.”
Guest Lisa Rinna, who could be a contender for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 4 cast, chimed in on Faye and said, “She’s standing up for her friends.”
Andy brought up the fact that Faye has been called out as “Kyle’s mouthpiece,” but Kim said she doesn’t see it that way.
“I don’t think it’s about being a mouthpiece,” Kim replied. “I think it’s just, she sees it how it is, and she lays it out there.”
Do you agree with Kim that Faye just has a strong personality, or do you think she’s purposefully malicious toward some of the other housewives?
