Kim Richards Wants to Return for Season 3 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
You wouldn’t know it from the way she was glowing on February 23 at The Hollywood Reporter’s Nominees Night pre-Oscar bash, but Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards just completed a month-long stint in rehab. Often a topic of discussion on the show, Kim finally opened up about her alcoholism in a one-on-one interview with Bravo’s Andy Cohen during the RHoBH Season 2 reunion.
Now, the reality star says she’s clean and sober and feeling better than ever. But with rumors swirling about who is and who isn’t returning for the unannounced third season of RHoBH, Kim’s back in the hot seat. This time the question is, will she or won’t sign on again?
None of the Housewives have been extended offers, but one thing’s for sure: Kim doesn’t want to quit.
"It doesn't make me want to walk away from anything," the 47-year-old star told People of rehab. "It makes me want to step out in front of everything and just say you know what? Anybody can do it. I don't want to walk away from anything in my life. It's part of life, you know, facing it."
While we’d love for the quotable Kim to come back all cleaned up, not everyone will be happy if Kim returns to reality TV. Her family and friends have reportedly “begged” her not to continue, claiming the show is not what she should be focusing on right now.
RHoBH hasn’t been all bad for the former child actress: From the sounds of it, her struggle with addiction has inspired fans.”People walk up to me, and they just hug me and cry," Kim told Us Weekly."That's so rewarding to me."
