Hand over those gorgeous Tom Ford sunnies and no one gets hurt.
One of the things we love about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards is her unabashed honesty. Whether she’s going all Regina George at Game Night or calling her bestie out at the reunion, Kyle always tells it like it is.
That being said, we can’t think of a better person to set the record straight about whether the Housewives are actually friends off-screen. Despite tensions on the show, we were always under the impression the ladies liked each other the majority of the time. Sure, Lisa did tell Taylor she wasn’t “masquerading as [her] best friend” — and we saw Brandi lovingly inform Adrienne they’re not friends in a promo for the reunion part two — but other than that, the ladies seemed pretty tight.
However, a recent rumor alleges that the fierce females aren’t friends IRL, like, at all. One source claims the girls don’t speak or see each other unless it’s for the show. As if... right?
So, what does the always-honest Kyle Richards have to say about that pesky rumor?
"It's hard to explain,” she tells Parade. “There was some rumor saying that we weren't really friends and it was all made up, but none of us would ever agree to pretend we were friends. We do spend birthdays and holidays together and go trick-or-treating with our kids on Halloween. We also visit each other's homes without cameras around. Yes, we have fights and disagreements, but we cry and make up just like normal people."
Sounds pretty normal to us!
