Whether she’s hosting terrible tea parties or planning bachelorette soirees in all the wrong places, Lisa Vanderpump has quickly become Beverly Hills’ Public Enemy No. 1 this season.
The 56-year-old reality star took to her Bravo blog blog to talk about the recent scrutiny we’ve seen her face on-screen. First, she tackled the tea party and that horrible remark Taylor Armstrong and Kyle Richards made about her allegedly overblown ego.
“Was my pride hurt? Yes, of course. Hearing Kyle confirm Taylor's accusations against me regarding my ego was very hurtful. But it was also enlightening, as previously I had no idea what had been said between the two of them.” she wrote.
However, some good did come out of that day. As a result of the uncomfortable convo, Lisa points out she and her troubled co-star were able to “start anew” — and even solidified their newfound friendship with a hug (much to Kyle Richards’ dismay.)
As for Lisa’s currently unseen drama with hotel heiress Adrienne Maloof over daughter Pandora’s bachelorette party, Lisa said that choice was all Pandy.
According to Lisa, a “very close friend” of the Vanderpump’s owns and operates Planet Hollywood, the “competitor” hotel Pandora chose for her party. In fact, Lisa hadn’t even planned to go at first!
“It was my daughter's choice with her Uncle Robert. She had spent many, many weekends there growing up,” Lisa wrote. “It was my daughter's weekend organized by her. It wasn't about supporting somebody's business.” She adds: “I would never get upset every time people ate in other restaurants in Beverly Hills!” Girl’s got a point!
How does Lisa feel now? “At this point I am starting to get a little tired of constantly trying to navigate these troubled waters,” she wrote. “...I will live my life accordingly, striving to be kind, honest, and fair. If I falter, my conscience will deal with the consequences!”
In short: She’ll survive.
