The drama on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been known to get pretty incendiary — but never like this!
Late Friday, the Beverly Park mansion previously owned by Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, which featured prominently in the show's first two seasons, went up in flames — viewers will remember it not only as the spectacular home where the Vanderpump clan lived, but also the property that played host to Lisa's daughter Pandora's wedding in the Season 2 finale. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fire was reported at 6:30PM, with smoke seen pouring from at least three parts of the roof.
Over 100 firefighters responded to the call, one of whom was hospitalized for injuries resulting from the effort to put out the fire, and the LAFD was able to keep the flames from spreading to neighboring properties. As for Lisa's former neighbors, Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif? Fortunately, they were just fine.
But although Lisa and Ken sold the house last September to move to a smaller property, she admitted that she was pretty shook up about the incident: "I'm shocked, really," she said in a TV interview. "It's been an incredible journey coming to America and living there. My daughter got married in that house, so I'm pretty emotional about it even though I sold it a few months ago."
