Ready for Thanksgiving, Vanderpump-style? Just in time for the holiday, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump is offering up her favorite recipes exclusively to Wetpaint Entertainment. We’ve already shown you her delicious Turkey Burger recipe. Today, we’ve got her Fresh Cranberry Sauce to serve along with your bird. It’s sweet but has a little zing to it — after all, Lisa is the queen of the zinger!

“This cranberry sauce is easy to make and a perfect accompaniment to a rich Thanksgiving dinner,” says Lisa. “The cinnamon and cloves give this sauce the perfect holiday flavor, while the fresh cranberries are tart enough to complement your heavy Thanksgiving food. We love to add a splash of Cointreau or Brandy while the cranberries cook, to give the sauce some ‘oomph!’ Enjoy!”

Lisa Vanderpump’s Fresh Cranberry Sauce

1 12oz bag of fresh cranberries

1 cup orange juice

½ cup sugar

¼ tsp ground cinnamon

¼ tsp ground cloves

1.  Add all of the ingredients to a medium non-stick saucepan over medium-high heat.
2.  When the ingredients start to steam and come to a simmer, reduce the heat to medium.
3.  Let simmer for 7-9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries give out their juices and the sauce becomes rich.
4.  Add a little more sugar to taste, if necessary.
