Who’s livin’ large and who’s been relegated to the pool house? We rank The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for “Malibu Beach Party From Hell” in our weekly Power Rankings. Let the countdown begin!
Ranking: 7 (out of 7)
Last week: 2 (out of 6)
Here’s why: On any given episode, it’s hard to predict whether we’ll be seeing “sweet Kyle” or “rhymes-with-witchy Kyle,” but this week it was mostly the latter. Something about those big group settings make Kyle feel the need to entertain everyone, which we saw as she shined that light on Brandi Glanville’s chest. But we did crack up when Kyle’s friend asked if she was serving Cheetos or carrots. (Would one of these ladies really be serving Cheetos?)

Here’s why: We can’t really say much about Kim this week, since at this point, we sometimes forget that she’s even on the show because she doesn’t get enough screen time. But we are glad that she skipped that insane ruckus at Brandi’s party because, given her history of criticizing Brandi’s wardrobe, she might not have been able to resist getting in a few jabs of her own about Brandi’s “carefree” look.

Here’s why: This disastrous mess of a season for Taylor sadly continues to get worse. In Taylor’s defense, she didn’t seem to really lose until D.D. Whitt just wouldn’t stop needling her about the Camille incident. Anyway, this episode just makes us hope that Taylor has gotten some help and is happier these days.

Here’s why: Brandi is clearly trying her best to fit in with this crowd, as we were impressed that she changed her party’s entertainment from porn star classes to the (slightly) classier belly-dancing option. But this episode made it clear that there is officially no hope for Kyle and Brandi. These two are like Mentos and Diet Coke — some things just don’t mix well together.

Here’s why: It’s hard to hold this week’s madness against Camille. She had tried to settle this all before the party with those apologetic texts, and then she admirably did her best to stay out of the confrontation between Taylor and D.D., as we even see Camille telling D.D. to cool it. The one snippy thing Camille did this week was making that “nipples are in” remark, but we have to admit that one was pretty funny.

Here's why: Adrienne did her best to play peacekeeper as always, but we learned this week that some fights are too explosive for even her to defuse. Our only quibble about Adrienne this week? Ordering that pizza all cut up into bite-size pieces. C’mon, Adrienne — eat it with your hands!

Here’s why: Lisa was on fire, standing up to both wedding planner Kevin Lee and SUR contractor Wayne. And we even loved seeing her go out on that cute little date with Ken. She may wish that she and Ken would’ve had a more elaborate wedding, but we’re thinking they didn’t need it!
