Who’s livin’ large and who’s been relegated to the pool house? We rank The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the Season 2 Reunion, Part 2 in our weekly Power Rankings, including a totally unexpected number one this week! Let the countdown begin.
Ranking: 6 (out of 6)
Last week: N/A
Here’s why: We will say that Brandi’s penchant for telling the truth is refreshing. Still, as much as we love her candor and self-deprecating humor, there’s no denying that she really stirred the pot this week. Her comments about Taylor’s book were harsh, and that fight with one-time friend Adrienne was disappointing. It seems that Brandi will often hit a breaking point when arguing with the women, and then she starts getting mean. Plus, the less said about that tire incident, the better!
Last week: 1 (out of 5)
Here’s why: Taylor was a touch combative at times, like when she criticized Brandi for her game night behavior or brought up those lacerated tires. Of course, Brandi was plenty aggressive herself, so we can see why Taylor felt the need to fight back. Above all, it was nice to hear that Lisa and Taylor are still on good terms now. Maybe everyone else on this show can learn a thing or two from their peace-making efforts?
Last week: 5
Here’s why: We feel for Adrienne, since we all get frustrated with people in our lives from time to time — as Adrienne got about Lisa — and at least Adrienne didn’t deny making comments to her staff. Plus, Adrienne has the most demanding work schedule of anyone on the show, so it’s a little unfair of Brandi to expect Adrienne to have a ton of free time, given that Adrienne had in fact invited Brandi to a Halloween party. Frankly, we wouldn’t want to miss a Halloween party at the Maloofs, since you just know she buys the full-size candy bars!
Last week: 2
Here’s why: We were impressed that Lisa managed to stay level-headed, despite Adrienne having said disparaging remarks about her. But while we understand that Lisa loves Giggy more than life itself, perhaps a quick apology on Ken’s behalf for giving Giggy water from Adrienne’s glassware couldn’t have hurt. (Come to think of it, we’re almost surprised that Giggy hasn’t found a way to put his pinkie in the air while he drinks.)
Last week: 3
Here’s why: We appreciated that Kyle stood up for Taylor and showed support for her sister, and it was nice to hear that Kyle had invited Brandi to a holiday party. We just wish that Kyle could have just apologized to Brandi for not helping her find those crutches instead of just saying she had nothing to do with it. If Brandi ever gets crutches again, we’re guessing she’ll install a GPS tracker in them.
Last week: 4
Here’s why: Surprise, surprise! We’re as shocked as you are that Camille ended up in the top spot after last week’s sub-par performance, but given this week’s contentious episode, Camille’s resistance to drama was a welcome respite. We relished hearing about her happy love life, and it was nice to hear Kyle say that the real Camille is indeed sweet and kind. And now that she’s no longer kissing married men on the lips, all the better.
