Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof's family is about to get a little bit richer  although the citizens of Sacramento may not be crazy about it.

The Maloofs are selling the Sacramento Kings basketball team for about $500 million to a group that includes Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, according to Yahoo! Sports.

The new owners plan to move the NBA franchise to Seattle, and the team's name will be changed to the Sonics. The Sonics previously played in Seattle before turning into the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2008.

The Maloofs will still keep a tiny percentage of the team, but they won't be involved in any major decision-making.

This is sure to have been a tough decision for the family, as we saw last season that Adrienne was worried about making Sacramento fans angry if they ever were to move the team.

Sadly, this may mean that we no longer get to watch Adrienne's fellow Housewives seem utterly clueless while attending a basketball game with her, as we saw in Season 1.
