Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Camille Grammer is joining in on the criticism of her ex-husband Kelsey Grammer and his new wife, Kayte, for not using a car seat at the airport on November 27.
Kayte was videotaped getting into a chauffeured SUV while holding their 4-month-old daughter, Faith. The SUV is seen pulling away from the curb with Faith in Kayte’s arms and not in a car seat, which is a violation of California law.
Kelsey Grammer’s rep maintains that, while the baby was in Kayte’s arms as the car was driving away to evade paparazzi, the couple put Faith in a car seat before they exited the airport.
"In an attempt to avoid the paparazzi, they exited through the upper level,” the rep told E! News. “Kelsey went back in and got the car seat and met them at the car. Did the car drive a few yards without the car seat? Yes. At no time does the video show them leaving the airport with the baby not in the car seat."
Camille was at a party at Kyle Richards’ boutique KYLE on the night of November 28 and was asked about the airport video.
"I don't think it's good to have a 4-month-old in a car without a car seat,” Camille tells TMZ. “It's so irresponsible."
