Real Housewives’ Kyle Richards Sympathizes With LeAnn Rimes Over Cyberbullying
LeAnn Rimes recently entered treatment for anxiety and stress over comments made to her on Twitter. The singer also filed suit against two women for posting a recording of an unauthorized phone call about the tweets.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards sympathizes with LeAnn (the woman who snagged Kyle’s co-star Brandi Glanville’s then-hubby Eddie Cibrian) over her current cyber-bullying woes.
Kyle told Fox News that she completely understands LeAnn’s distress. “I felt bad hearing about LeAnn Rimes — and, of course — I know Brandi ... So, I’ve been watching this closely. My heart really does go out to LeAnn because I feel bad for anybody who goes through something like that. I know how bad it can make you feel,” she said. According to Kyle, she’s endured her own difficulties with Twitter followers.
“One time, someone tweeted to me, ‘I hope you die of breast cancer like your mother did’ … And then they started tweeting all of my children, ‘I hope you die of breast cancer like your grandmother did,’” Kyle revealed.
While she tried to ignore such vile tweets, Kyle admits it was hard “because you want to shake some sense into these people and say, ‘I’m a human being, too.”
Brandi might’ve poked a little fun at LeAnn for filing a lawsuit over the whole thing, but it sounds like even the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are Team LeAnn when it comes to grappling with Twitter bullies.
