As we’ve seen on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards continually supports charities and fundraising efforts, and her good deeds have not gone unnoticed.
Kyle will be honored by the sCare Foundation with the 2012 Humanitarian Award at the second annual Halloween Benefit this weekend. The sCare Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by a producer of the Halloween film franchise (get it — “scare”?) to address poverty and homelessness among young people.
“We are beyond pleased to present Kyle Richards with the 2012 Humanitarian Award,” says sCare Foundation founder Malek Akkad on their site. “She is tireless when giving back to her community and isn't afraid to do more than just donate her name. Her selfless, courageous, and compassionate acts make her more than deserving of this honor.”
On the show, we’ve seen Kyle involved in numerous charitable causes, including last season when she hosted an event to raise money for the Lollipop Theater Network. She also supports GLAAD and NoH8, and she adopts a family for Christmas every year that has been affected by childhood cancer.
And of course we could never forget Kyle and Mauricio riding their bikes for cancer awareness. We love any chance we can get to see Mauricio in spandex.
