On January 30, Brandi Glanville came out with a colossal-sized accusation, saying the other Housewives wanted to get together before the reunion and plan an attack against Lisa. Whether or not what Brandi claims is true, it’s clear Lisa was immensely hurt by what happened during filming — and again by watching it when the episode aired. “It certainly looked the way it felt, and I have no words to describe it,” Lisa wrote in her Bravo blog.
She wrote that she’d seen “how these women roll” on game night, “But it's not OK to accuse somebody viciously or to sit there silently as you watch a friend who is under attack for hours. That speaks volumes, and I for one don't want any part of it.” After that, Lisa explained that she wouldn’t say anymore, except to thank readers for their supportive comments.
Kyle Richards told Lisa at the reunion that being friends with her was like playing chess with Bobby Fischer: every move is calculated; Adrienne Maloof said that Lisa’s “Maloof Hoof” joke was hurtful and accused her of selling stories to the website Radar Online. In a recent interview, Kyle said that because of Brandi’s accusations — which Kyle insists are false — it only looked as if the Housewives were ganging up on Lisa.
The comments made during the reunion seemed to wound Lisa deeply, but she promises, “I will bounce back.” Hopefully the Housewives’ friendships will, too.
