Who’s livin’ large, and who’s been relegated to the pool house? We rank The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 3, Episode 13: “Game of Scones,” in our weekly Power Rankings. Let the countdown begin!
Ranking: 9 (out of 9)
Last week: N/A
Here’s why: Taylor had been absent from the past few Vegas episodes, but she made her presence known this week — and not in a good way. We get that Taylor has issues with Adrienne, but it would have been nice if Taylor wasn’t so determined to immediately stir things up with her. Lots of people were involved in this week’s drama, but Taylor got the ball rolling.
Last week: 8 (out of 8)
Here’s why: A lot of the ladies had the sense to stay out of the drama that didn’t involve them — including Faye Resnick, shockingly! — but that can’t be said for Camille. It was nice that Camille was willing to go to the mat for Adrienne by arguing that Adrienne wasn’t suing anybody, but it would have been even nicer if Camille had just stayed out of it entirely.
Last Week: 6
Here’s why: At first, Brandi was in good spirits and was cracking us up with comments like how Lisa has “great tits” — although Brandi may want to cool it on bringing up Marisa’s marriage. However, once tensions started rising between Brandi and Adrienne, things got ugly. It’s hard to say whether Adrienne or Brandi was more in the wrong this week, but we’re ranking Brandi lower because of her refusal to “cheers” with Adrienne. It’s the little things that count.
Last week: 7
Here’s why: Adrienne’s behavior was a bit baffling this week, since we find it hard to believe that Brandi would invent a letter from Adrienne’s lawyer. Still, we do give Adrienne credit for not saying anything negative until she was provoked. Long story short: Adrienne and Brandi are not ready to party together again just yet.
Last week: 2
Here’s why: What to make of poor Kim? Hmm. We really want to believe that Kim just needed more time to rest up after her recent nose job, but we wish her story about getting hit in the face by her dog (!) didn’t sound so, uh, made up. Then again, given all the alcohol that was flowing at Lisa’s “tea” party, it’s true that Kim may have made the right decision by avoiding it.
Last week: 4
Here’s why: We relish any chance to see Yolanda acting cute with her kids — not to mention the chance to live vicariously through Yolanda and her difficult life of only being able to afford one horse. Our only quibble was that maybe Yolanda didn’t need to say quite so many negative things about Adrienne, like how she’s “nobody.” That was a tad harsh.
Last week: 3
Here’s why: It’s hard to get a sense of whether Marisa and Dean are truly happy, given that Marisa makes it clear this week that she wants to sleep with someone else. Ouch. But anyone who didn’t get too involved in the tea party fray this week deserves a high ranking, which can be said for bipartisan Marisa.
Last week: 5
Here’s why: It was promising to see Lisa and Kyle airing their grievances — and we also appreciate that Kyle did her best to stay out of the Brandi-Adrienne drama. Plus, we enjoyed the comic relief of Kyle’s clothes rack in the beginning — not to mention the sight of Mauricio in that purple V-neck. Not many men can pull off a purple V-neck, but Mauricio is clearly one of them.
Last week: 1
Here’s why: Lisa has claimed the top spot for the second week in a row! And her tea party may have been a disaster, but it was through no fault of her own. She did an amazing job planning it — and she even tried admirably to quell the tension by pulling Taylor and Brandi aside. Plus, it was nice that Lisa quickly called the party off, instead of making some people awkwardly feel like they had to leave early. And did we mention how good Lisa looks naked?
