Who’s livin’ large, and who’s been relegated to the pool house? We rank The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 3, Episode 6: “She’s Gone Too Far” in our weekly Power Rankings. Let the countdown begin!
Ranking: 6 (out of 6)
Last Week: 3 (out of 7)
Here’s why: We’re not trying to take sides per se, but it’s hard to avoid the fact that this week’s melee could have been avoided if Brandi hadn’t made the comment that she did. That said, many people played a role in escalating things. So let’s just say that this week wasn’t a bright, shining moment for anyone on the show and leave it at that.
Last week: 4
Here’s why: We understand that Adrienne and Paul were completely taken aback by Brandi’s comments. Still, we would have loved it if they had just calmly said their goodbyes and then spoken to Brandi the next day or over the phone to deal with the issue. Instead, Adrienne fires back at Brandi with accusations of drug use and bad parenting. Ouch.
Last week: 2
Here’s why: Kim had been doing such a good job for the past few weeks of avoiding drama — but that wasn’t the case this week! Kim obviously felt that she had to be a good friend and get Adrienne up to speed, but there’s just no excuse for doing it at Mauricio’s party. Hopefully, the peacemaking-Kim we’ve come to love will reappear in future episodes.
Last week: 6
Here’s why: Taylor earns her highest ranking of the season thus far just for not stirring the pot. That said, we were surprised by her comment to Kim about how Brandi says things when people aren’t there to defend themselves, as that’s what Taylor has done when talking about Brandi behind her back for the past few episodes. Still, we’re just looking to move forward from this debacle!
Last week: 7
Here’s why: Did Kyle contribute to the problem by asking Brandi to dish about her issues with Adrienne in front of the whole group? Definitely. But we appreciate that Kyle did her best to put a stop to the ruckus at Mauricio’s party, and we felt for her that this all had to go down at her husband’s work event. Plus, this ranking is mainly for those cute scenes in the beginning with Mauricio giving Alexia her new car. Hey, Mauricio — can we get one, too?
Last week: 1
Here’s why: Last week was Lisa’s first time all season in the top spot, but now that she’s here, she doesn’t appear to be giving it up anytime soon. Perhaps Lisa just got lucky that she didn’t attend Mauricio’s event. Still, we loved seeing her typically tough exterior soften as Ken heads into surgery. Plus, it’s fun when she lays down the law at SUR. It’s Lisa’s way or the highway!
